New York Times Photo < Back
I received an e-mail from a NY Times editor, asking to borrow an image of Baby he'd seen on Baby's website. I was offered a fee, but turned it down. I just felt honored and fortunate that Baby had been chosen to be in the newspaper. This was the Sunday edition, and I was told that around two million people saw this photograph.

This photograph was taken by a professional. I asked at the last minute if we could try one with Baby wearing his derby. When the flash went off, Baby became airborne off the table. I thought, "Well, I'll have a great photo of him flying. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this photograph! I asked for copyright permission, and they granted it to me.
Zack Rescue < Back
Zack was my first rescue after having only Baby. To be honest, I was very concerned about adding another bulldog to the household. Would he get along with Baby and Delilah? Does he have hidden health problems? As it turned out, Zack was a blessing, and I'll always miss him; especially his snoring. He shook the windows when he snored. After he died, the house was filled with a deafening silence.
